Silver World Champion Mare

The sun had set, the arena was lit and the audience went quiet as Basmah Albidayer (Fadi Al Shaqab x Bidayer) announced her presence at the Katara World Arabian Horse Championships. Being held out of Paris for the first time, it was a moment to behold as Basmah captivated both the audience and judges alike with her grace and beauty.

With her owner Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi watching on, Basmah Albidayer scored an impressive 93.50 in the Senior Mares Section B class. She not only won the class in style to book her place in the championships, but was also presented with a throphy for Best Head in her class.

With two championships already complete on the last day of the Championships, it was finally time for the Senior Mares to take to centre stage as the sun was setting over the distinct Doha skyline. After what seemed like an age to the team watching, Basmah Albidayer finally entered the arena with handler Raphael Curti. Appearing to float down the centre of the arena, her movement as graceful as ever, Basmah showed everyone just why she was there in the championship class. After another incredible stand up amongst her competitors, all that was left was to await the results.

With multiple breaths being held by the Albidayer Stud team, the wait was finally over; BASMAH ALBIDAYER SILVER WORLD CHAMPION MARE 2024.
